At this time, the Pennsylvania Drilling and Blasting Conference committee is evaluating when to hold the next on-site conference.


Advance registration has ended. However, you may register (additional $30 walk-in fee) on-site at the registration desk (conference wing) of The Penn Stater Hotel & Conference Center from 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Thursday, November 14, and beginning at 7:00 a.m., Friday, November 15.

The conference fee covers all instruction, program materials, refreshment breaks, and Thursday’s lunch and evening reception. Registrants are responsible for all other meals and lodging.

  • $175 Pennsylvania State Government (must have “” in email address; fee available via printable registration form only)

How to Register

You can register online (with a credit card) or by mailing the printable registration form (with a check, money order, credit card, purchase order, or letter of authorization from your employer or sponsoring organization). Accepted credit cards are American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and VISA.

Online Registration

You may not use your Penn State account to register anyone other than yourself. If you are registering someone else, an account must be created with their name and information.

Printable Registration Form

You may also register by completing and mailing or faxing the Printable Registration Form (Adobe PDF). Purchase orders or checks (payable to “Penn State”) must include registration forms for each individual. For reference, Penn State’s Federal ID Number is 24-6000376. Group rates are not available for this conference.


All advance registrations must be received by 5:00 p.m. (ET), Monday, November 11.


Penn State Conferences and Institutes will confirm your registration by email. If you do not provide an email address, you will receive confirmation by postal mail. You will be alerted promptly of any cancellations or changes. If some unforeseen event forces Penn State to cancel or postpone the program, you will receive a full refund of your registration fee; however, the University cannot be held responsible for any related costs, including cancellation fees assessed by airlines or travel agencies.


If your request to withdraw is received at least 15 business days prior to the first day of the conference, we can issue a partial refund. Send your written request by email to or by fax to 814-863-5190. A $50 administrative fee will be charged for each withdrawal.


Anyone who is registered but cannot attend may identify a substitute. A full refund will be issued after the substitution registration has been completed. A registration form and full payment by the substitute are required. Substitutes are eligible to register at the same fee.
