At this time, the Pennsylvania Drilling and Blasting Conference set for November 14–15 will still be held as scheduled. We are closely monitoring the situation with the community’s best interest in mind as part of Penn State’s efforts to maintain public health and safety in the face of the coronavirus outbreak. If the program is canceled, we will notify you as soon as possible. For the latest updates and information, visit: virusinfo.psu.edu.

Continuing Education Units

New This Year! Continuing Education Units – Session Verification Form
Everyone seeking continuing education hours must fill out and turn in a Session Attendance Verification Form. This form is provided at the on-site conference check-in desk. Codes for the form are announced during sessions. Participants must write the session code on the form and turn in the completed form at the conference registration desk prior to departing the conference on the last day of attendance. Following the conference, CEU certificates will be sent via email to participants based on the number of sessions attended — as verified by the codes on the respective session verification form.

Penn State CEU Certificate
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are based on a standard of 1 unit per 10 hours of classroom instruction. Note: The entire conference meets Pennsylvania’s continuing education requirements for the blaster’s license renewal. If you are seeking renewal credits outside of Pennsylvania, please check on the specific requirements for your state.
