Registration

The conference fee covers all instruction, program materials, refreshment breaks, and Thursday’s lunch and evening reception. Registrants are responsible for all other meals and lodging.

How to Register

Register Online (Recommended)

You can register online with a credit card. Accepted credit cards are American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and VISA.

Register

You may not use your Penn State account to register anyone other than yourself. If you are registering someone else, an account must be created with their name and information.

Printable Registration Form

You may also register by completing and mailing or faxing the Printable Registration Form (PDF) and enclosing payment by check, money order, credit card, purchase order, or letter of authorization from your employer or sponsoring organization. Purchase orders or checks (payable to “Penn State”) must include registration forms for each individual. For reference, Penn State’s Federal ID Number is 24-6000376. Group rates are not available for this conference. The deadline for the registration office to receive the printable registration form is 5:00 p.m. (ET), Monday, November 13.

Walk-In Registration

Walk-in registration (additional $30 fee) is available at the on-site conference registration desk (conference wing of The Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center) on Wednesday, November 15, 1:00–5:00 p.m.; Thursday, November 16, 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., and Friday, November 17, 7:00 a.m.–noon.

Confirmation

Penn State Conferences and Institutes will confirm your registration by email. If you do not provide an email address, you will receive confirmation by postal mail. You will be alerted promptly of any cancellations or changes. If some unforeseen event forces Penn State to cancel or postpone the program, you will receive a full refund of your registration fee; however, the University cannot be held responsible for any related costs, including cancellation fees assessed by airlines or travel agencies.

Refunds

If your request to withdraw is received at least 15 business days prior to the first day of the conference, we can issue a partial refund. Send your written request by email to PSUconferences@psu.edu or by fax to 814-863-5190. A $50 administrative fee will be charged for each withdrawal.

Substitutions

Anyone who is registered but cannot attend may identify a substitute. A full refund will be issued after the substitution registration has been completed. A registration form and full payment by the substitute are required. Substitutes are eligible to register at the same fee.
